Our client who is a leading Financial Services entity in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer who will provide expert level support with the design, implementation, and maintenance of a reliable, stable, and secure IT Infrastructure in line with industry best practices, whilst safeguarding the integrity, security, and reliability of IT systems to achieve IT operational excellence in the Group.

Responsibilities:

-Provide expert-level support for designing, implementing, and maintaining a reliable, stable, and secure IT infrastructure.
-Ensure alignment with industry best practices while safeguarding the -integrity, security, and reliability of IT systems
-Oversee IT infrastructure operations, ensuring operational excellence.
-Manage infrastructure components and resources, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
-Oversee datacenter infrastructure planning and operations.
-Proficiently manage infrastructure systems, including domains, Active Directory (AD), email, DNS, and cloud services (Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams).
-Handle security patch and vulnerability management, infrastructure applications, and licensing systems.
-Utilize knowledge of Nutanix and VMware setups, cloud-based security, automated monitoring tools, and backup solutions.

Client Requirements:

-Atleast 10 years in the securities/equities sector with at least 4 years of managerial experience in similar operations.
-Experience with infrastructure components and resources, both on-premises and cloud-based.
-Proficiency in managing infrastructure systems, including domains, AD, email, DNS, and cloud services (Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams).
-Experience with security patch and vulnerability management, infrastructure applications, and licensing systems.
-Knowledge of Nutanix, VMware setups, cloud-based security, automated monitoring tools, and backup solutions.
-Ability to work in cloud-based environments and oversee datacenter infrastructure planning and operations.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
-Preferred certifications include VMware Certified Professional or Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA), Project Management (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
