Mark Williams is currently working with a large retail entity based in UAE for their recruitment needs.

The position will be the Business Partner for the Unit Heads to drive the adoption of Digitization across the Value Chain Area (Manufacture, Supply Chain, Procurement)


Responsibilities:

- Develop a comprehensive multi-year domain strategies for the Business Units and localized by Value Chain of the Operating Companies
- Establish the overall strategy, and transformation roadmap to support execution of the company’s business strategy and drive the digital and technology maturity of the company’s divisions, brands, and functional units
- Work with all relevant teams across the business to diagnose as-is operations, identify opportunities, and shape execution plans to capture them
- Lead and manage the Value Chain services within Business Units, to ensure maximum results with minimal business disruption and to support the Digital and Technology agenda
- Oversee the portfolio of technology-enabled change programs that support digital transformation
- Oversee the continued evolution of the application landscape to improve UX and ensure effective use and analysis of data
- Ensure alignment with business & functional units working collaboratively with leadership through review and challenge, being a key player in the decision-making process
- Ensure all digital and technology initiatives are integrated into annual strategic-planning process for business leadership commitment, resource allocation, and execution


Requirements:

- Master degree on Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Information Technology/Business/Finance/Engineering
- 5+ years functional experience on leading Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Digital and Technology teams
- Proven experience of managing Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing platforms (SAP, Oracle, Warehouse Management, Transportation) on large and multinational companies
- Experience in systems planning, development methodologies & and business process management
