Strategic Programs and Partnerships Manager

Our client, a top government entity is looking for a Manager – Strategic Programs and Partnerships who would support the delivery of high-quality program outputs by helping the Lead oversee the project/program conceptualization, lead program implementation, and optimize the targeted budget toward the corporate affairs strategy


- Support in establishing the evaluation criteria for program selection and in validating the portfolio feasibility taking into account the relevant financial risks, capacity planning and resource management constraints
- Maintain close liaison with the corporate affairs team and cost controllers to regulate program costs and to report on preliminary costs to the upper management team
- Support in establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence in delivering program intended objectives and to enable the realization of the intended outcomes
- Assist management in formulating and monitoring risk mitigation measures to ensure program deliverables are attained and that estimates meet target completion dates
- Supervise the junior team (analysts and senior analysts) to drive a successful program delivery, including approach conceptualization, objectives formulation, and monitoring the implementation plan
- Work with the Manager of Strategic Programs and Partnerships to attend Project Steering Committee and fundraising meetings with senior external and partner stakeholders
- Support the steering of engagements with external consultants & senior subject matter experts


- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an advisory role within a management consulting or public advisory
- Demonstrable experience in managing engagement with stakeholders at the senior government / ministerial level
- Experience designing programs and delivering successful project outputs in the area of strategic analysis
- Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analyses
- Strong knowledge in preparing PowerPoint presentation including content creation, structuring and storyboarding
- Strong educational and practical background in project management (i.e. project coping/design, project planning and implementation, and quality and risk management)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, International Relations or Economics, Masters degree is a plus
