Our client, a dynamic government entity based in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a Strategy Associate to join their team. The Associate will be responsible for developing rapid responses for the DG office, including scoping, baselining, benchmarking, analysis and recommendations for studies / initiatives and special projects that are beyond the company's typical operational scope, and that come from Abu Dhabi Government Senior Leadership (including Chairman).

The role:

- Execute special project tasks related to the the DG and Chairman Office
- Follow-up and monitor the performance of project teams and 3rd party consultants / vendors
- Ensure that the projects are delivered timely and with the highest quality and accuracy for decision making by senior Abu Dhabi leadership
- Develop detailed plans and programs for all special projects assigned, to ensure that the work is executed at the highest level of efficiency and productivity
- Conduct comprehensive research and strategic analysis to address special projects, deploying appropriate problem-solving tools
- Build financial models using historical data, provide forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics and apply appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support decision-making for special projects
- Detail proposed initiative / special project (scope, project plans, operational steps, interim KPIs, budgets, concerned stakeholders, initiative governance model) and align with internal and external stakeholders
- Set strategic direction for external stakeholders involved in initiative implementation
- Stay in tune with key market developments, evolution of asset needs, key strategic moves of similar entities, and general trends and disruptions (i.e. digital and technology) and share market developments with broader team

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field
- MBA from top education establishments (preferred)
- Experience working in a Top-tier consulting firm
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in significant high impact consulting type analysis and benchmarking
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written, verbal and for executive-level presentation
