Our client, a dynamic government company based in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for an experienced Director of Portfolio Management to join their team. The Director will be responsible for evaluating portfolio entities related to the organisation, including drafting regular reports, stakeholder management and follow-up.

Please note that this is an Emiratisation role and only UAE Nationals with a Family Book will be considered.

Role:

- Managing stakeholder relations from the organisation's Portfolio Entities
- Support the development of reporting frameworks to inform department teams and other Portfolio Entities of the organisation's strategic objectives, and identify activities, schedules, and milestones to achieve strategic results
- Tracking and following reports compared to agreed targets
- Monitor portfolio output/effectiveness and prioritise transformation initiatives to support the strategy
- Highlight risks, issues and opportunities - particularly related to outputs
- Act as an escalatory point of communication for internal teams requesting the approval
- Identify new opportunities both within the department and the Portfolio Entities
- Collaboration with the Rapid Response & Special Projects Department in ideation and supervising (hands-on) implementation of priority projects where appropriate

Requirements:

- UAE National with a Family Book
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or any related field
- Certificate of professionalism in project management is preferred
- Relevant experience of at least 10 years in the field of management consultancy or portfolio asset management with influence and a range of topics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
