The role:
- Providing legal advice to the Chairman on the legal consequences of all decisions, strategies and main transactions of the entities and institutions of which s/he is a part and/or chair
- Prepare studies on current laws and regulations and provide a careful view of potential value-added changes, taking into account the reduction of associated risks
- Supervising the selection, management, and evaluation of the external legal counsel in matters relating to his the Chairman
- Preparing legal reports and correspondence in accordance with the requirements of the Chairman's work
- Drafting & standardizing conventions, contracts & other legal documents to ensure legal rights
- Participation in the commissions of inquiry conducted by the regulatory bodies in matters related to the Chairman
- Review contracts & prepare draft contracts according to the requirements of work for the Chairman
Requirements:
- Fluent Arabic & English (written and spoken) is a must
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably Master's degree in Law or equivalent
- Essential experience in UAE law, preferably related to Abu Dhabi Government
- At least 12-15 years of practical experience in Legal
