HR Business Partner - Temporary

Our client, a desirable government entity, is currently looking for a temporary HR Business Partner to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The HRBP is required to provide backup to all HR functions and provide support on specific HR projects including performance and compensation. One specific project will be developing and documenting a HR Procedures Manual for the HR Department.

The role:

- Create a procedures manual to document all current procedures and define documentation and filing required
- Ensure HRIS system steps are aligned with HR processes
- Assist the CHRO with complex incentive compensation calculations
- Construct Excel workbooks to track and document performance and incentive calculations
- Assist review and document KPI and performance outcomes
- Produce auditable compensation records
- Assist with promotion and salary reviews
- Produce promotion recommendation proposals
- Manage any performance improvement programmes, disciplinary, and grievance issues that arise; conduct any necessary investigations
- Update and develop job descriptions for new and changed roles


- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Human Resources / Management or equivalent
- Professional certification in HR preferred
Background and experience
- Min 8+ years of HR experience (ideally 15+), 6+ in UAE
- All round generalist HR experience across all functions; preferably experience managing a full HR team
- Experienced in data analysis and compensation and benefits calculations
- Ideally from an investment or financial services background
- Experience developing policies and procedures
- Fluent in English; Arabic added advantage
