Mark Williams is working with a top-tier investment firm in the UAE. We have an exciting opportunity for an investment analyst that will be focusing on the infrastructure sector.


Role Purpose

- Assist Investment Manager and Head of Infrastructure in all infrastructure investments (including defining investment strategies and co-investments
- Assist Investment Manager by providing analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned investment portfolios; maintaining knowledge of co-investment opportunities
- Providing research and analysis for investment selection
- Investment Strategy, conduct research, analysis and due diligence to support the investment decision-making process
- Sourcing investment opportunities, prepare the initial assessment of potential opportunity
- Preparing financial models & investment analysis
- Preparing investment memorandum to be presented to Investment Committee
- Defining due diligence scope and manage external advisors (financial legal, etc.)
- Supporting negotiation by managing the closing process
- Monitoring direct investments to ensure ongoing compliance with strategy, return and risk targets

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics or related field
- Certification: CFA Level 1 is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of investment analysis preferably within a buy-side investment firm
- Infrastructure related deal experience would be advantageous
- Proficient computer, excel and presentation skills
- Ability to prepare a financial model
- Ability to prepare an investment memo
- Strong Research, Numerical, and communication skills
