We have an exciting opportunity with a UAE-based Family Office, they are currently expanding and seeking a highly motivated and analytical trade settlements officer to support the public markets team across fixed income and equities. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a solid understanding of public market investments within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

- Process and settle trades for the public markets team, ensuring adherence to industry regulations
- Verify accuracy of trade details, including security type, quantity, and pricing
- Communicate effectively with internal and external counterparties to confirm settlement instructions
- Prepare and review settlement documentation for completeness and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of all settlements and transactions within the portfolio accounting system
- Research and resolve any discrepancies or exceptions that arise during the settlement process
- Prepare necessary reporting on the various public trades of the family office
- Assist the Portfolio Manager with post-trade analysis and reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry or a related field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a settlements role or related field
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- Highly motivated and eager to learn from senior team members
- Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy
- Organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Genuine interest in public markets (equities and bonds)
