Our client, a semi government organization in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a Head of Property Management, responsible for leading and managing all aspects of all properties in the portfolio

Role:

- Contributes to the development of functional/departmental strategy in line with the business strategy
- Manage and direct the daily activities of leasing
- Assists the finance department in preparing annual budgets for operations, utilities, property CAPEX and buildings insurance
- Assists the Facilities in preparing repair and maintenance budgets by advising on any possible work required outside of normal repair and maintenance costs
- Participate in the decision making and management of Property department as part of a coordinated team
- Keep up to date with the market trends, upcoming property developments, average prices (Estimated Rental Values) of various areas and maintain appropriate records
- Ensures that all space inventory is updated along with adding any new spaces to the property leasing system supporting the sales team to offer the available spaces with the full accurate data
- Ensures the potential of the facilities is optimized effectively to deliver high quality care and excellent ratings from our internal and external customers
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, external and internal to the Group
- Oversee property health & safety in accordance with the property’s management systems and procedures
- Coordinate between service providers on site, audit of contracts services and review of personnel for the following services

Requirements:

- Graduate bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in property and real estate or applicable related field
- Minimum of 10 years work experience managing mixed use properties
- Good command of commercial management and leasing practices and good understanding of the local UAE leasing market is required
- Ability to analyse, evaluate and act on issues, reach sound conclusions and take appropriate action
- Strong contract evaluating skills (Leasing, Licensing, SLA’s and KPI’s)
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Applied knowledge on HSE policies and procedures
