Oracle Data & Database Engineer | Abu Dhabi

We’re working with a leading organisation in Abu Dhabi to hire a hands-on Oracle engineer who will build, run and optimise its enterprise data platforms on Oracle Cloud.

The role:

- Administer and support Oracle databases across all environments, covering patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, high availability and disaster recovery
- Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and integrations between Oracle Fusion and other business systems
- Develop data models, dashboards and reports for Finance, HR and other functions using Oracle analytics tools
- Tune SQL and PL/SQL, resolve performance issues and support capacity planning
- Apply security controls, keep documentation accurate and support audits
- Provide L2/L3 support, root cause analysis and controlled change delivery

Requirments:

- 7+ years in Oracle database administration and data engineering
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning and Oracle Fusion data experience
- Exposure to OCI, Oracle Analytics Cloud or Fusion Analytics is a plus
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python) in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience in regulated, high-availability environments with formal change control
- Oracle Cloud certifications are an advantage
