About the Job

Our client is looking for a Director of Communications to lead the strategic narrative for a high-profile, multi-national initiative in the UAE and beyond. This role is at the forefront of shaping perception, driving engagement, and advising senior leadership on all aspects of communications—from launch planning to crisis management.

You will be a trusted partner to executive teams, ensuring the initiative’s messaging resonates with diverse stakeholders while maintaining operational excellence across all channels.

The Role

-Strategic Leadership & Messaging
-Lead the development and refinement of the initiative’s messaging framework and communications strategy.
-Advise senior leadership on reputation, positioning, and risk mitigation.
-Launch & Campaign Oversight
-Oversee planning and execution of high-profile launches and communications campaigns.
-Manage content across press releases, executive briefings, media engagements, and digital platforms.
-Stakeholder & Partner Management
-Align messaging with key partners, government entities, and third-party vendors.
-Ensure high-quality outputs and consistent strategic execution.
-Crisis & Media Management
-Build and maintain a robust crisis communications plan.
-Monitor media and emerging issues, providing actionable insights to leadership.
-Team Leadership
-Mentor a small team, fostering strategic thinking and professional growth.

Client Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university (Master’s preferred).
- 15+ years experience in communications, combining agency and in-house roles.
-Proven experience in strategic communications, crisis management, and executive advisory.
-Familiarity with UAE government or high-profile regional projects is an advantage.
-Exceptional strategic, editorial, and storytelling skills.
-Strong project and vendor management experience.
-Culturally aware with the ability to operate in complex, high-stakes environments.
