Our client is a leading government entity in the UAE which is going through a large scale growth phase, this prestigious entity is looking for a seasoned Marketing & Corporate Communications professional to enhance the company image in the region, and beyond, through strategic planning and activations that have a direct impact on business results and positioning in the industry.

The role;

• Provide Branding Direction to the Organization and Strategic Guidance to the Department
• To define & align Marketing & Communication strategy with group corporate strategy
• To set up long term plan for overall functioning of the Department in line with mission and vision
• To maintain close awareness of best practices and industry standards in Marketing, Branding and Communications and build the Department initiatives/ activities towards these benchmarks
• To ensure Branding Guidelines developed and approved, are implemented across all media to market through, including the website, SmartApp, etc.
• To develop & ensure adherence to policies. procedures and operating protocols & controls within Department and inter-relationship with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective outcomes.
• Oversee Public Relations & Events, Marketing and Communications
• To provide direction and inputs on key corporate communications for local, regional and global interactions that promote as a leading international financial Center (campaigns / forum management, advertising, promotional activities, road show, website & other media in strategically important areas.)
• To oversee and guide the preparation of Public Relations strategy & press management to press inquiries with respect to business activities, published plans, controversies and marketing efforts in collaboration with senior managements
• To take ownership for wing-to-wing Event Management, in coordination with associated Departments
• To target leading publications globally, relevant to Strategy and ensure visibility
• To oversee and prepare strategic/ organization change related communication ensuring consistency with the mission and vision across entities
• To oversee and ensure all communications are aligned with corporate strategy and the key messaging
• To establish and develop a strong and engaging digital presence through the website and activation of digital marketing platforms
• Develop roadshows to support Business Development
• To develop roadshows objectives and strategies aligning with overall corporate strategy ensuring ultimate exposure and brand impact
• To evaluate international opportunities of showcasing the brand in the relevant target markets
• To identify prominent association engagements for through International conferences and Media partners
• To develop marketing and PR plan to grant appropriate exposure opportunities to enable leads and prospects generation
• To support Senior Management in communicating & representing the brand internationally & regionally to ensure its position & brand strength are understood by investors & clients / customers
•To manage the Corporate brand identity and provide direction & inputs on public relations and branding policies & guidelines; Ensure & maintain a consistent brand image through all promotional material and events
• To plan, test & measure effectiveness of all Marketing Spends (both ATL & BTL) through improving metrics
• To oversee workload, conduct performance evaluations and sign off on reward, recognition and career guidance along with necessary disciplinary actions as appropriate
• To review manning & training requirements of the team and communicate those requirements to HR
• To oversee all relevant special projects and programs related to Corporate Communication and ensure efficient resources planning, project delivery and financial management

Requirements;

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role in Branding and Communication in an international or large organization.
• At least 7 years’ progressive leadership responsibility in an organization of similar scope and size
• The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field. Master’s in Business Administration is required
• Fluency in English is critical as this role must be able communicate regionally and globally
