Our client is a dynamic semi-government entity in Dubai, looking for a senior business development professional to spearhead the team. This role has been created due to exciting growth plans, the SVP will be a key player in executing the company's vision and long term goals.

Responsibilities;

• Identify and develop active pipeline of prospective clients to drive new business
• Utilise pipeline and other methods to generate new applications in order to meet individual KPIs’
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets and establish strategic relations with key decision makers
• Meet potential clients; understand their business needs/aspirations in the context of offering.
• Analyse industry information and formulate effective market entry strategies through marketing, sponsorships and conferences to achieve departmental objectives
• Oversee and facilitate the prospecting activity of direct reports
• Manage all large and strategically important clients of the sector in conjunction with the appointed ‘relationship manager’, ensuring enhanced client satisfaction and maximize client relations
• Assist in setting up of the long term plan for the overall functioning of the Department in line with the mission and vision and the strategic objectives
• Recommend process improvements to enhance client experience, by simplifying and streamlining all internal end to end client management and operation processes, involved in the induction of clients
• Assist in developing team engagement and ownership of the Departmental objectives
• Work closely with existing clients to understand their growth plans
• Through excellent client management, build a strong referral process and leverage on existing client relationships to attract other business

Experience required:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role in Business Development and Client Management for an international or large organisation
• At least 6 years progressive leadership responsibility in an organisation of similar scope and size
• The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field
• Master’s in Business Administration is preferred but not a prerequisite
