Our client, a top regulatory authority based in Dubai is currently looking for a professional Senior Manager of Corporate Communications who will manage and administer the company's communications strategy and plan.

The senior manager will be responsible for the management and administration of media releases locally and internationally, the development of brand guidelines, crisis management, and the drafting of articles.

Please note this is an Emiratisation role and therefore only applications from UAE National Family Book holders will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the external communication strategy by developing the plan, approach, tactics, tools and media for end-to-end execution
• Develop the internal communication strategy and develop the plan and approach
• Identify the communication needs of all units and develop a plan and execute the same
• Increase the company’s presence in local, regional and international media and adopt a proactive approach to create awareness
• Create and develop a media-savvy organisation, where executives are fully trained and understand the media industry
• Administer and manage production of effective communications materials, including corporate literature, media releases, newsletters and annual reports and reviews
• Develop measuring mechanism to understand ROI
• Develop and manage key media relationships - national, regional and international – both business and financial
• Identify key local and international exhibitions and conferences and manage the complete logistics of participation to increase presence
• Implement the brand strategy by developing the plan, approach, tactics, tools and media for end-to-end execution
• Develop the brand manual and guidelines with periodic review and update
• Work with all internal departments to develop, manage and ensure implementation of brand standards around all internal and external collaterals
• Develop and implement a measurement mechanism to understand brand perception and recommend ideas and initiatives to continually improve perception
• Develop the CSR strategy, plan and implementation by identifying and mobilising various CSR initiatives that enhances the reputation of the company
• Support the L&D team in identifying and establishing exchange programmes with reputed international institutions to benefit and upgrade skills set and exposure for Emirati colleagues
• Develop the Government stakeholder management strategy, to enhance and strengthen relationships with Government stakeholders

Required Experience & Skills:

• UAE National with a Family Book
• Bachelor’s degree in Media/Communication or its equivalent
• 6 - 8 years experience as a communications professional in a highly developed environment
• Experience in building and maintaining media relationships
• Experience in financial services industry is preferred
• Fluent in both English and Arabic
