Our client is a leading entertainment and media company in Abu Dhabi and seeking to recruit a VP – Marketing & Communications to lead the team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful execution of marketing strategies, including events, website, social media and PR.
• Ensure an increase in B2C sales through segmented marketing
• Develop and report on key performance metrics for marketing & communication event activities and corporate programs.
• Partner with and support the business development, sponsorship and sales activities to ensure that new revenue opportunities are developed and actioned.
• Oversee and manage the Department’s marketing & communication corporate budget.
• Organize and implement customer relationship activities including customer satisfaction surveys, customer development activities, customer relationship marketing strategies and special events.
• Oversee electronic marketing direction and strategy including supervision of web site design, social media usage through continuous updates and maintenance.
• Supervise all marketing & communication staff and make staffing and hiring decisions within marketing & communication department.

Required experience & Skills:
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Arabic
• Experience in Retail, media, events or similar industries
• Minimum 12 years of experience with over 4 years in the U.A.E.
• Able to work on large and multiple projects
• Deliver high quality of work
• Review processes for improvements
• Able to manage pressure and respond appropriately to a crisis
