Learning and Development Director

Our client is looking to appoint a Learning and Development (L&D) Director to join a leading group of dynamic, diverse and committed employees. The L&D Director will create strong relationships throughout the business, evangelize professional development and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Our client implements employer-of-choice practices to attract the strongest candidates to their organization.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
• Build a data-driven and technology-enabled learning organization and process, including analytics, dashboards, and our LMS
• Create processes and systems to ensure training content is always up to date and relevant
• Become quickly immersed into the company culture, working closely with key business leaders to understand OKRs (Objective and Key Results) and ensure training programs support and align with larger company goals
• Be a thought leader in the business; align with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify and move key strategic learning and development initiatives forward
• Develop reporting to be distributed to the executive level to tell the story of our learning impact through data

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience leading a learning and development department within a high-growth organization
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Experience working closely with senior management
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to influence and inspire action in others, with or without a direct reporting line
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in a related field
