Our client, a strong Semi Government entity in Abu Dhabi is currently headhunting for a Senior Development Manager to join their team. The Senior Manager will be responsible to manage the Project Management activities from initiation to the handover, by overseeing the Project/Construction Managers, Consultants and Contractors.

Role:

- Contribute to the articulation and realization of the project goals, in coordination with the Chief Portfolio Officer and Executive Director Development
- Establish and manage the schedule management strategy based on the project plan and ensure compliance of the Project Manager/Consultant/ Contractors
- Prepare feasibility studies and budgets, as required, for projects on a monthly and annual basis via the prepared business plan forecast revenues and profitability by projecting varied business cases to be submitted
- Participate in client to discuss project requirements and conduct site visit when required
- Monitor the consultant's delivery of projects including schedule, interface, variation, cost control and risk management to ensure compliance with company’s standards and consultant's effectiveness
- Review the consultant's recommendations affecting the management/execution of the project, provide comments and/or recommendations where appropriate, and validate and/or make recommendations to the team members, as and when required
- Review and approve method statements, specifications and material submissions provided by the consultants and contractors and ensure smooth flow of installation, testing and commissioning needs of the projects
- Ensure compliance of the project to the agreed work schedule as per the project plan and budget
- Initiate and build partnerships with government stakeholders, asset operators and private sector partners


Requirements:

- 8–10 years of experience in real estate development with knowledge across all real estate assets and awareness of local and regional trends
- Familiar with large-scale projects of economic, urban and regional nature
- Development and transactional experience preferably from client-side and good understanding of leasing, and asset management disciplines
- Bachelor's degree in real estate related discipline with a CPA, Masters or MBA, MRICS
- Fluency in English and Arabic
